I've been sOoooOooo frikin lazy so apologies for the delay in updating.. but yeah.... i'm now in ASIA... sweating even more profusely than i imagined from places i did not even know could be sweatyyyyy!!  (sorry TMI but i know you know that i love to overshare and i know you know that i know you love when i do it!!!)

HOLA FOLKS. I'm back in BEAUTIFULLL BAHIA.... land of the most spectacular beaches & niiicest people. i had such a great time in Salvador during Carnaval that i knew I had to come back and experience the place when it was less craycray/more normal... glad to say that the people are still as nice as ever and the state is as wonderful as i remembered... i got to do more of the cultural things this time around in Salvador, including a trip to igreja do bonfim where i tied a ribbon onto the front gate and made a wish for syracuse to win their game against UNC (didn't work!) and front row seats to baile folklorico salvador, an amazing dance performance that showcased a bit of a candomble ritual, capoeira along with some super energetic drumming, music, and singing...

HELLO BEAUTIFUL PERSOASSS. How we doing?1? MEeeEe. i’m chillen.. actually, i’m sweating.. profusely.. (why do we say chillen.. most of the time, if we’re relaxing.. it’s by a pool somewhere hot and sunnyyyy.. NO ENTIENDO!!!) but, such is life. 

TUDO BEM amigos?!? (this is how all Brazilians greet each other.. roughly translates to ALL GOOD?) I'm currenty chilllaxiinnn in paradiseeee.. literally. i spent the day soakin up the sun and sitting in a hammock submerged in the middle of lagoa do paraiso in Jericoacoara (northeast of Brazil) which translates to Paradise Lake... so literally actually applies..  (I've been told peeps from the States always use literally and like in all their sentences.. which is so, like, literally, true!) Outside of a short stint in Sao Paulo, I've practically been living in a bikini and drenched in sweat in Jeri, Floripa, and Fortaleza.
